Empowered Woman – Ms. M
The overall experience was empowering for me. I have never done a professional photo shoot let alone a boudoir shoot so for a lens to be able to capture the intimacy between two queer people of color was empowering. I looked at the pictures in awe as the photographer, Olesha caught everything from the laughs to the sexy which I appreciate.
The best memory of the overall experience was the constant communication. Olesha constantly checked in to ensure our comfortability, offered direction and support when necessary, encouraged creative input, and had Jennifer and I laughing the entire time ! The communication allowed for a necessary level of transparency that allowed everything to flow naturally.
As I mentioned this was not only my first boudoir experience but my first professional photo shoot so I was NERVOUS! I didn’t know what to expect however after meeting and engaging with Olesha I felt right at home. She is warm, insightful, and encouraging. She also allowed us to set our own boundaries and didn’t apply any pressure. My body had never been photographed in such a way so to have someone willing to listen and acknowledge your input was enlightening.
Don’t overthink it and question yourself you are beautiful enough, sexy enough, and captivating enough. This experience will give you an opportunity to embrace and appreciate yourself.
Again thanks for the opportunity!

Empowered Women – Ms. A
The boudoir experience made me feel like a goddess. I felt uplifted and encouraged to embrace my vulnerability and divine feminine energy.
Overall the best memory I had was dancing like nobody was watching. I love to dance, it always makes me feel free, being able to do so without judgement made me feel even more comfortable and open.
I did have some reservations because I hadn’t been in front of a camera in a long time, almost 10 years. I wasn’t sure which poses I should do or if I should pose at all. That went right out the window because Olesha walked me through each shot. She showed poses and then allowed me to build upon that and do what felt natural. That was a breath of fresh air and removed that awkwardness.
Let this experience be another form of self care. Allow it to show you how much courage you truly have. You are worthy of feeling and being sexy, beautiful and powerful. What Olesha does is so different than any photoshoot I’ve ever done. She will be sure you are comfortable and supported and put you in the best light possible.

Empowered Woman
I have always considered myself a pretty girl and my husband has always said I am beautiful and if you need a mirror “I am your mirror”. I went from feeling pretty to truly embracing my curves and my sexuality in this photo shoot. You look at yourself and say “Damn! That’s a bad woman in those photos”. I thank Olesha for capturing every aspect of who I am and who my husband has alway seen, even in times when I did not.
So out of the entire boudoir experience my favorite part was learning to control my face. Lol….. Olesha and I had the funniest time going over photos and getting the best facial expressions. I learned to soften my expressions and just be myself and get out of my own head. We as woman tend to stay in our head and question this allowed me to be care free. Be Me!!
If you plan on doing this experience do it for you! It’s an experience that will allow you to feel empowered, sexy and just confident in being a woman. I gave the photos to my husband but every now and then I go and take a look at them to remind me “Damn, that girl is bad”…..
Thanks,

Part 3: Boudoir Travels
Mykonos
Hey Beauties now let’s talk about Mykonos! Mykonos is where I was able to empower the women I met on my trip!
In order to get from Santorini to Mykonos I took a Seajet. The price was around $70 and the trip lasted a little over 2 hours. The ride was pretty smooth if you were seated. When I had to use the facilities I felt like I was walking a tightrope because I was swaying from left to right. If you have ever seen the movie World War Z, I felt like I was in that movie as we were disembarking. I have a vivid imagination and I love movies!
The hotel , Ilio Maris, was a 5 to 7 minute drive from the port for 5 Euros ( $5.59). I stayed from April 13 – 15 for $219. I booked through booking.com. I would suggest you book directly through the hotel to get free transportation to and from the airport. The hotel is a boutique hotel which I loved. When I travel I like to stay in hotels or Airbnbs with character. I was so excited because I finally had a tub which I took full advantage of after I finished 4 boudoir experiences in one day! A sista was tired from standing, contorting and posing.
I did not take many pictures in Mykonos because most of my time was spent resting from doing the boudoir acrobatics for the 4 Beauties.
Nice n’ Easy Restaurant
We dined at an amazing restaurant called Nice n Easy. The food was the best I had in Greece! It is a natural organic based restaurant with vegan and gluten free options. The manager was amazing and went above and beyond. This is where I got my first taste of Matiska, a Greek liqueur. Which is now on my all time favorite wine and spirits list! We were able to watch the sunset after dinner by just walking a foot from the our table to the water.
ATHENS:
The Graffti
I wish I had more time to explore Athens. What I loved is I was able to take the train directly from the airport to my Airbnb in Dafni. I bought a 3 day pass for 22 Euros = $24.60. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Being an art lover I was blown away by the graffti that was everywhere! It made the city come to life because of the bold use of color and whimsical imagery. I almost fell a few times because I was busy appreciating the art.
My Airbnb
Let me tell y’all about my Airbnb! I stayed from April 15 – 17 paying $136.53 in total. The best part of the entire Airbnb, outside of my host Despina, was this amazing hanging chair. I stayed in that chair for 30 minutes when I got settled. It was so soothing. When I walked in my name was on a mini marque as well. I felt like a celebrity! The location was literally steps away from the metro which made it easy to make it to Monastiraki Square to shop, eat and people watch. I even had a small kitchen.
Overall I enjoyed my trip immensely! I did not take many images because this trip was really about much needed rest, relaxation and gratitude. I feel as if I met the goal and I cannot wait to go back and explore again. Check out the videos from my trip on my Instagram.
